We are in a digital era where our students need to be taught using new technologies. In the past few years, technology has acquired an important role in education and it has changed the way of teaching while it has provided muliple resources that can help students have access to lot of input. That is why technology must be present in schools' everyday lessons as children are surrounded with digital tools all day. The way of teaching has changed a lot in the past few years: students learn from each others' experiences and the teacher becomes the guide to this new way of learning, leading them to the right path while they explore and research while using new methodologies. Several studies suggest that teachers should use technology as a very important part of their lessons. The use of digital tools has helped a lot in these new methods, with computers, Smart Boards and Ipads promoting group work and encouraging communication with students from all over the world. Subjects like Language Arts, Science or Maths can now be taught using Ipads, which is a very innovative way of teaching at the same time that children become more motivated to learn it with these digital tools.
